Dr. Marc A. Bertrand, MSA, M.Ed.
Founder of The Bertrand Education Group
Dr. Bertrand is an established multi-sector Leadership Development Speaker within the nonprofit and government industries that includes Public Health, Education, Financial and Human Services, which originated from his Co-Authored Biotechnology publication; “Effects of the Total Quality Management Operational System on Adult Language Learners’ Achievement.”
“Discover the journey of excellence in EdTech, Leadership Development and Healthcare Innovation through the power of Generative A.I. Join us in reshaping the future and inspiring change globally.” — Marc Bertrand
Dr. Bertrand's portfolio has included some start-up companies through angel investments to notable pharmaceutical entities (i.e., Ariad, Bristol Myers Squibb, Arrowhead, etc.). Moreover, he has reinvested his net proceeds by supporting philanthropic initiatives in partnership with local and regional-based organizations to support global humanitarian, education and healthcare consortiums to ensure helping their staff and broader communities in need.
Most notably, is Dr. Bertrand's commitment to cancer research and innovation, which included a vested interest in various oncology companies, one in particular had two indications for prostate and ovarian cancers inclusive of patients with deleterious BRCA mutation (germline or somatic).
The aforementioned had influenced the Atlas Foundation for Autism to have him serve as Board of Trustee, CNBC (Comcast Company) invitation as an Insights Business Analyst and his alma mater, Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health to have him lead an Alumni Panel on “Conflict Resolution.”
Subsequently, Dr. Bertrand was unanimously selected by St. John's University in partnership with the New York City Department of Education to serve as Distinguished Visiting Lecturer to teach a doctoral level (training) course for teachers, building and district level administrators. The latter objective was to explore challenges, and opportunities that promote culturally relevant learning aligned with equitable healthcare, social and cultural justice for economically disadvantaged municipalities.
